What Your Support Makes Possible
I've been with Mattingly Edge for a year now, and I've loved seeing firsthand how our work helps people with disabilities thrive at home, at work, and in their communities.
This year:
- Shanae found a job and moved into a safer, more accessible apartment.
- Jean continued pursuing her interest in sewing while working at Unified Sign & Design, where she's a valued team member.
- Justin got to attend a UK alumni game in Lexington.
- Through our Life Launch program, we helped more than 50 students explore internships, volunteer opportunities, driver's permit preparation, education, and career paths as they transition into adulthood.
These stories are just a small snapshot of the impact your support makes possible. Every day, Mattingly Edge helps people build independence, pursue their interests, and create the lives they want for themselves.
We couldn't do this work without the generosity of our donors and sponsors. Thank you for helping make these opportunities possible.

All of us have a role in life we're proud to hold—employee, volunteer, homeowner, parent, spouse—the list goes on.
But people with disabilities are frequently left out from the pursuit of socially valued roles.
Not because they cannot achieve or fulfill these roles, but because society does not expect them to.
Without expectation, there is no opportunity.
At Mattingly Edge, we know that with high expectations and quality support, opportunity starts to unfold around those with disabilities.
When we expect and support people with disabilities to work, go to college, own their own home, and contribute to their communities, they do.
When we expect and support people with disabilities to become employees, volunteers, homeowners, parents, and spouses, they do.
Your support directly benefits Kentuckians with disabilities to find their people, find their place, and share their gifts with the world!
