Why The Cooperage Project is important to me:
When I joined the team in 2023, I was drawn to the incredible variety of our programs. As the Outreach Coordinator, I have the privilege of being the storyteller for our community. I see every photo and every recap, and it’s clear that The Cooperage serves as a sanctuary for people from all walks of life. It’s a place where those who might feel out of place elsewhere can truly belong. Everyone here is unique, and I believe those differences are exactly what make our community so vibrant.
Why I chose to be a part of it:
I wanted to work at a place that wasn't just a building, but a space where my own friends and neighbors would feel comfortable, celebrated, and welcome. I chose to be a part of this team because the staff and the mission are genuinely supportive of every individual. By sharing our stories and recapping our events, I do my best to show everyone that they are welcome and truly have a seat at our table.
