I want to go on this trip because I want to learn about Ellis Island. My great great-great grandpa who my family calls Papa came to the United States from Poland with his mother, father and four sisters. I want to learn what happened to them. Why did they want to come to the USA and why was it so important that they could come? What role did and does immigration play in the United States?
