Empower Lasting Change
For 51 years, the Rape Recovery Center has provided lifesaving crisis intervention, therapy, advocacy, and prevention education for survivors of sexual violence, often being the first and only point of contact following trauma. Our Mobile Response Team ensures immediate, trauma-informed support at hospitals, while our helpline and therapy services guide survivors from crisis to recovery.
Utah ranks among the top 10 states for sexual violence. Additionally, Tooele County faces higher rates of sexual violence than Salt Lake County. Rape remains the only violent crime above the national average. Since 1974, passionate individuals in our community have worked to change that—providing confidential, survivor-centered care and advocating for a future free of sexual violence.
Every year, we educate nearly 5,000 youth on consent and healthy relationships to prevent harm before it happens, creating lasting change for generations to come.
