It’s that time of year again…when I reach out to my family and friends and ask you to join me in supporting Constellation Stage & Screen, an organization I care about deeply because it gives people in our community the chance to discover, practice, and grow through the performing arts. Its education programs open doors for youth and adults alike, whether they are stepping onto a stage for the first time, learning the craft of acting, exploring directing, or building skills and confidence through film. I’m passionate about this work because arts education does something rare and lasting. It helps people find their voice, learn to collaborate, take creative risks, and see themselves as part of a larger story.

A healthy community needs places where people can gather, imagine, learn, and be moved, and Constellation helps make that possible through theater, classes, camps, and outreach. Just as important, its scholarship program helps ensure that cost is not what keeps a young person from participating. Qualified K–12 students can receive full scholarship support to attend Constellation classes at no cost, which means more children have access to the confidence, creativity, and joy these programs can spark.
