Kitten Abandoned Covered in Tar

One of our rural shelter partners received a call that a kitten had been abandoned in a picnic shelter next to the shelter. The kitten was wrapped in a blanket, meowing, and covered in what appeared to be tar. We don't know what would lead someone to dump him there in the middle of the cold night, but we're so thankful someone saw him and he fought to survive.

Shelter staff rushed Parker to the vet and reached out to us for help. They aren't equipped with foster homes and Parker needs some TLC after his ordeal. He's on the mend, but this little guy needs will need your support to cover his vetting and transportation.
