Mazie was homeless in West Virginia

Mazie is a 1-year-old lab/chi mix who was first found as a stray in West Virginia. she and her mom Trixie were lucky enough to be taken in by a woman who rescues dogs in the area, but that woman ended up with too many dogs to handle and surrendered them to one of our partner shelters. We were able to bring Trixie to Homeward Trails several weeks ago, and now we hope it's Mazie's turn.

The shelter she's in doesn't get many potential adopters, and her odds are not good if she stays there. We know she has a better life ahead, but we have to get her here first. We are turning to our community to ask for help with the vetting and transportation costs. Let's work together to give Mazie a second chance.
