King Belongs in a Castle, Not Behind Bars!

King is a tiny 4 year old Chihuahua mix whose whole world has been turned upside down. King once had an owner, but now he’s been surrendered and left behind in a rural Virginia shelter. Small and fragile, King trembles at the loud noises that echo through the kennels, with only the cold bars of a metal cage to keep him company at night. He doesn’t understand why he lost his home or why no one comes for him. Homeward Trails wants to rescue King and bring him somewhere safe, but they can’t do it without donations. Please help. No dog, big or little, should spend their nights scared and alone in a shelter cage.
