Help Natalie Study at Rochester this Summer!

My name is Natalie and I am a sophomore at Greens Farms Academy. Over the past couple of years, I’ve gained a deep interest in the genetics field. In addition to this passion, I have also always known that I would like to aid people as well, which is what this program will help me achieve. I have found the topic of genetics very interesting, and after participating in eighth-grade science classes and freshman year biology, I want to explore more. Getting the privilege to attend the Rochester pre-college program will allow me to understand and explore crucial genetic code and connect patterns to traits and diseases. I will examine modern medicine and how it creates personalized tests and treatment, including stem cell therapy and genetic editing, and debate the ethics of modern technology available in this field of medicine. Additionally, I will also be allowed to gain real-world experience in the field of genetics through a mentor, in order to evaluate if this is what I would like to dedicate my life to. Being able to participate in this program will benefit me in the future tremendously. I’d greatly appreciate your help by doing a small action, as it can make a significant difference.
