Defeating Cancer One Pedal at Time

I began my journey with Challenge to Conquer Cancer in 2018.  I thought after that year, I wouldn't participate again.  You see, I had never been a cyclist.  Sure I rode bikes as a kid, but not a true cyclist.  Clipping in?  What is that?  I learned.  The hard way sometimes.  Fast forward to 2026.  This is my 8th year.  I have cycled some and injuries forced me to support the last couple of years.  I have had 3 shoulder surgeries in the last 2 years.  My last one almost a year ago, but one of my very best friends was just recently diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer.  If she is having face all the treatments and all the unknowns along with her family,  I can get back on my bike again.
