What began as a vision shared by many in our community is becoming a powerful tribute at the south entrance to Hermann, Missouri—a place of remembrance, honor, and gratitude for the heroes who serve and sacrifice.
The Hermann First Responder Memorial Mural will stand as a lasting symbol honoring the fallen officers and recognizing the impact that March 12, 2023 had on our community and first responders across Missouri.
After thoughtful discussions with those involved in the early planning stages, The Chief Mason Griffith Foundation stepped in to help move this project forward. With the support and guidance of the families of our fallen officers, we are working closely with renowned muralist Mr. Ray Harvey to ensure the final design respectfully honors their legacies and represents all first responders affected that day.
You will soon begin to see donation containers in local businesses, flyers with QR codes for online giving, and other promotional materials throughout Hermann. We are also reaching out to businesses, civic groups, and organizations across the region to help make this vision a reality.
Our Goal: Raise $50,000 to fully fund and complete the mural.
Every donation—large or small—helps bring this memorial to life. This project belongs to the entire community, and it will only be possible if citizens, businesses, and organizations come together in support.
