FIU in Washington, D.C. is the university’s Florida International University’s hub in the nation’s capital, connecting our students, faculty, and community to opportunities at the federal level. Located just steps away from Capitol Hill, FIU in DC provides a platform where the voices of our community’s top talent Panthers can be heard on a national stage.

 Through this program, FIU students gain access to internships, leadership development, and networking opportunities that prepare them to become changemakers in public service, policy, and beyond. Faculty and researchers also benefit from FIU in DC, as the program helps elevate their expertise to inform solutions for today’s most pressing challenges—from healthcare and technology to climate change and education.

Support for FIU in DC allows us to continue expanding access for students who may not otherwise be able to afford to live, learn, and work in Washington, D.C.
