This Giving Tuesday, Athena’s Warehouse invites you to help us turn potential into power. Through our Discover Your Inner Warrior program, we help teen girls from Title I schools discover their voices, practice self-care, and develop the confidence to lead. Your donation empowers students like Destiny, the first in her family to go to college, to find peace, purpose, and pride in who they are.

🌠 The Story: Pearls of Power — Destiny & Edom’s Journey
When a girl discovers her voice, she discovers her power.
For Destiny, that moment came during a Discover Your Inner Warrior workshop at Athena’s Warehouse. She had never tried yoga before, but when the instructor asked her to close her eyes and breathe, something inside her shifted.
“I saw green grass, a windy summer day, and the star that always appeared each night. That was the day I saw my true self.”
Through Athena’s Warehouse, Destiny learned to find calm within chaos—to pause, breathe, and choose herself. She built confidence through self-care, volunteered in her community, and gained the courage to lead. Now, she’s the first in her family to attend college, carrying her inner peace and strength with her wherever she goes.
For Edom, Athena’s Warehouse opened doors she never knew existed.
“Athena's Warehouse was an unforgettable and welcoming learning experience for me. It introduced so many new topics, real-world lessons, and relationships I wouldn't have known or formed on my own. It's an experience I look back on frequently because a lot of those lessons come up again in my everyday life.”
Through workshops and mentorship, Edom gained not just academic preparation—but life skills, confidence, and a sense of belonging. She learned about wellness, boundaries, and self-advocacy, lessons often left out of traditional education.
“You should support Athena’s Warehouse because a lot of adolescent girls are left in the dark when it comes to their future—whether it’s what to do after college or how to take care of their own bodies. Having Athena’s Warehouse in places like Cross Keys, where dropout rates are higher, provides women and nonbinary students with a plan and a mentor to leave high school with. That alone can change a life.”
Together, Destiny and Edom represent the pearls of power Athena’s Warehouse helps cultivate—girls who shine from within because they’ve been given the space, support, and sisterhood to grow.
