Hello Family, Friends, and Supporters!

My name is Jayce M. Curtis, and I am honored to participate in the 51st Annual Kappa Beautillion Militaire Scholarship Program, sponsored by the Kappa Foundation of Charlotte and the Charlotte Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

As a senior at Hickory Ridge High School, Class of 2027, I have spent my high school years learning how to balance academics, athletics, leadership, and personal growth. As a dual-sport athlete in Football and Track & Field, I have learned that progress takes discipline, consistency, and the willingness to keep working even when things do not come easily.

Track has especially shaped the way I approach life. As a sprinter who has competed at the AAU level and New Balance Nationals Outdoor, I have learned that every second matters. The smallest adjustment can completely change an outcome. That mindset has also inspired what I want to do beyond the track.

After graduation, I plan to attend North Carolina Central University, majoring in Information Technology with a concentration in Data Analytics, with aspirations of becoming a Sports Data Analyst. My goal is to combine my passion for athletics with technology and use data to better understand performance, help athletes improve, and assist sports organizations in making smarter decisions.

Along the way, I have also been fortunate to grow through the 100 Black Men of Greater Charlotte MYOB Program, Youth Leadership at Mount Zion Baptist Church, the Deloitte PACE Program at North Carolina A&T State University, Varsity Football and Track & Field, and other opportunities that have helped prepare me for college and adulthood.

Today, I am asking you to become part of my next chapter.
