Help Me Run for a Cure: Disney Princess 10K for NF2

This year, I'll be lacing up my running shoes and taking on the runDisney Princess 10K at Walt Disney World for something much bigger than crossing a finish line. I'm running to help find a cure for Neurofibromatosis Type 2 (NF2)—and I can't do it alone.

Every mile I run represents hope for individuals and families living with NF2, but we need your help to reach the ultimate finish line: a cure.

Neurofibromatosis Type 2 (NF2) is a rare genetic disorder affecting approximately 2 in every 28,000 people. It causes tumors, including schwannomas, to grow on nerves throughout the body, often leading to hearing loss, balance problems, chronic pain, multiple surgeries, and significant physical and emotional challenges.

Finding a cure for NF2 has the potential to change countless lives. Even more promising, because mutations in the NF2 gene are found in many other benign tumors and more than twenty types of cancer, breakthroughs in NF2 research could help advance treatments for conditions including sporadic vestibular schwannomas, meningiomas, and numerous cancers.

Every single dollar donated is carefully invested directly into accelerating NF2 research and moving promising studies to the next phase. Whether you can give $5 or $500, your generosity makes a real difference and brings researchers one step closer to life-changing discoveries.
