Hello friends and family!
My name is Kolby Arendse and I’m running the Reno Tahoe Odyssey as part of the Axe ALS fundraiser to support the fight against ALS, a disease that impacts not just individuals, but entire families and communities. I don't know Eric well but he clearly has a significant impact on many individuals around him. I know him through the Galas family, and also feel like I know him through the Fire family. I am a fellow firefighter and the fire brotherhood runs deep. The Steven's family has been affected by ALS and I aim to support them and many others by my fundraising efforts.
This race is more than miles and competition—it’s a way to raise awareness, honor those battling ALS, and contribute to the search for better treatments and a cure.
