Help Annie Build a Better World

Please help me build a Better World by supporting my work with Builders Beyond Borders (B3).

B3 is a non-profit organization that engages high school students in local and global community service projects. During the fall, we work on service projects in our local community, and in February of 2026, we will be working within a community in Guatemala to build a better world. 

Your generous donations will not only help fund my trip and support my work, but more importantly, will be used to help fund local Guatemalan workers who will soon be awaiting our arrival. In addition, contributions will go toward gathering essential materials for our projects, such as cement, wheelbarrows, shovels, and other construction supplies.

Last February, during our project in Costa Rica, our team built a community center. For this project, we spent a week manually mixing and pouring cement for a new floor, extending the building, laying brick, and digging trenches for sewage.

B3 has come to mean so much more than giving back to communities. It has opened my eyes to a larger world and given me opportunities to step outside my comfort zone in ways such as taking on leadership roles and connecting with people from all over. Using my skills in real world settings has been incredibly rewarding, whether it's working on difficult tasks with teammates, helping lead a task, or using my Spanish skills to communicate with the locals abroad. From my first trip with B3 to Costa Rica to now, I've grown tremendously as a person through these expieriences. Looking back on the memories I have made makes me feel so grateful, and I look forward to many more cherishable memories to share.
