Kay's Go BOLD for UCC Church Eureka

I have been a member of this church since 2018 when we moved to Eureka. Like so many other mainline Christian churches, we have an aging and shrinking membership (COVID did us no favors!!), but we are a lifeline to those who still attend, and we have an important presence in our community.

We will use money raised to repair our formerly welcoming church sign (it's been vandalized twice!), purchase more banners that show our love for all (also regularly vandalized), maintain and fill our little free food pantry (which empties as soon as it's filled), replace broken locks and damaged doors making our buildings safe for all who use them, buy supplies and food for community outreach activities such as our Gay Pride dinner, Mardi Gras dinner, movie nights, emergency preparedness workshops and so much more. We are open and affirming of the LGBTQ+ community and have been for years. We welcome all, no matter where they are on life's journey.
