March Madness Pool for Village Gate Foundation

Beyond brackets and buzzer-beaters, there’s something deeply meaningful happening at Village Gate Children’s Academy. It's a place where children learn not just about the world, but in it. 

Village Gate is a Montessori-based K-8 community that honors each child’s voice, curiosity, and growth. Students learn through experience and connection, exploring culture, history, science, and community with a curriculum designed to spark imagination and deepen understanding. 

This year, our students are heading to Philadelphia and New York City... their living classrooms, if you will, where history leaps off the page.  

My son Patrick has been hearing about this trip from his sister for three years. He’s thrilled to see the Liberty Bell (and its spelling mistake), visit Lady Liberty in person, and create his own set of unforgettable memories just as she did in 6th grade (pictured above in the immersive art museum in NYC).

My hope is that you enjoy a little friendly competition in the March Madness Pool and feel great knowing that your support helps our students experience history in real and meaningful ways.
