About Our Giving

We are so grateful to celebrate this milestone with the people we love most. Your presence at our wedding truly means the world to us.

For the bride, this celebration is also an opportunity to honor a mission that has shaped her life in profound and lasting ways.

The mission of Boys & Girls Club is to inspire and enable all young people—especially those who need us most—to reach their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring community members. This mission is deeply personal.

As a child, the bride experienced firsthand what it means to have a safe, consistent, and caring place to land after school. During a time when stability mattered most, Boys & Girls Club staff provided support, structure, and a sense of belonging—quietly showing up and making a difference that lasted far beyond those afternoons.

That early impact grew into a lifelong commitment. In high school, she returned to the Club as a Counselor in Training, volunteering more than 700 hours to support summer programming and give back to the same kind of community that once supported her. Years later, in 2019, she found her way back again—this time in a leadership role—serving on the North Seattle Boys & Girls Club Advisory Board. Over the past seven years, she has served as Vice President, President, President Alumna, and an active member of both the Gala and Resource Development Committees.

This journey—from Club kid, to volunteer, to leader—has shaped who she is today. It is a story of showing up, being supported, and then choosing to give that support forward.

As we begin our life together, we are choosing to celebrate in the same spirit. We will not be having a traditional wedding registry, and we kindly ask that no gifts be brought. Instead, if you feel moved to do so, we invite you to honor our marriage by donating to one of our “His and Hers” charities—causes that reflect the values, passions, and stories that have shaped us.
