ECO's Sweet 16 Fundraiser

Sixteen years ago, Engaged Community Offshoots (dba ECO City Farms) broke the mold, bridging the divide between urban living and farming by growing great food, farms and farmers; and we did so right here in the Port Towns communities of Edmondston & Bladensburg. In that time we’ve trained over 300 urban farmers, grown multiple tons of healthy food, produced multiple tons of compost, supported dozens of small farms in their establishment journeys and even been named Cooperator of the Year (2025) by Prince Georges Soil Conservation District, the first urban farm in 50 years to earn this designation. As the world changes rapidly, the needs of our local communities continue to grow, even as support for our work decreases. Your donations will help better support our dedicated staff who make this work possible, improve our cash flow, and deepen our partnerships with other place-based organizations throughout the Port Towns.
