Your donation supports our walk for Chiari research by helping to fund Conquer Chiari.

Walking has been an essential part of my ongoing recovery since undergoing brain surgery for Chiari Malformation in 2019. Chronic health issues have made it hard to help others or feel productive, but this charity walk is an opportunity for me to put my walking to good use and raise donations for a research organization I value.

I've been challenging myself to walk further and further over the last 7 years, and for this walk I hope to reach a new personal best since surgery: 10km.  Laurent and I will walk a route around the Berlin Tiergarten on September 26th.

Chiari Malformation is a neurological disorder where the cerebellum descends out of the skull and crowds the spinal cord, putting pressure on both the brain and spine, causing a wide variety of symptoms that can be debilitating.

Every year Conquer Chiari holds a live & virtual international walk for awareness and fundraising. In 2025, thousands of people participated and raised more than $225,000. Conquer Chiari is proud to be the largest private NGO funder of Chiari research with over $5 million in research projects to date.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

- Jen
