Habitat for Humanity building in the neighborhoods I walked as a child is deeply meaningful to me. This community shaped my early memories, and my grandmother’s pride in owning her home showed me how much stability and dignity housing provides. Giving back here feels like coming full circle, helping another family create the same sense of belonging, security, and memories that meant so much to my own family. It’s an honor to be part of strengthening a community that gave me so much.
