At Phyllis R. Miller Elementary School, second-grade students are exploring the world through reading, science experiments, creative art projects, languages, music, and teamwork that builds confidence and joy. Every day, they ask big questions, dream up new ideas, and support one another as they grow into kind, capable learners.

Our PTA brings together parents, teachers, and neighbors to enrich the educational experience of every child. We serve a vibrant, diverse student body—many from underserved backgrounds—and strive to ensure that every family feels welcomed, supported, and empowered. Through creative programming, advocacy, and inclusive community events, we bridge resource gaps and build a thriving learning environment where every child can shine.

Our Goal This Give Miami Day

-Expand STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) enrichment across all grade levels

-Host inclusive family engagement events that celebrate our students and foster connection

-Sustain our Sensory Garden and other hands-on learning spaces

-Strengthen our advocacy efforts at the local, county, and state levels so every child has the tools to succeed
