Every day, families in our community are quietly facing impossible choices.

Do I buy groceries or pay the electric bill?

Do I put gas in the car to get to work, or make sure my children have enough to eat this week?

Do I ask for help… or try to make it one more day?

These are not rare situations. They are happening right here, to people who never expected to need support.

At Mason-Dixon Community Services, we meet families in these moments. Not just with food, but with compassion, dignity, and real solutions.

Yes, we provide groceries through our pantry, but what many don’t see is everything that happens beyond that.

We help keep the lights on when a family is facing a shut-off.

We step in when an unexpected expense threatens someone’s stability.

We connect individuals to resources and guidance so they can move forward, not just get by.

Because the truth is, most families aren’t looking for a handout. They’re looking for a way through.

And sometimes, all it takes is one moment of support to change everything.

A cart of groceries that gets a family through the week.

A utility payment that prevents a crisis.

A conversation that reminds someone they’re not alone.

This fundraiser is about more than meeting basic needs.

It’s about restoring hope, preserving dignity, and helping our neighbors stay on their feet during some of the hardest moments of their lives.

When you give, you are not just donating, you are showing up for someone in your own community.

Someone who may be your neighbor.

Your coworker.

A parent sitting next to you at a school event.

Together, we can make sure that no one has to face these moments alone.
