Cure NF2 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend

I am running the Disney Princess 10K in February 2027 in support of finding a cure for NF2, and I would be so grateful to have you join me in this fight. I cannot reach the finish line alone—your encouragement and generosity mean so much as we work toward ending NF2 together!

While this race will be a personal physical challenge for me, I am running for those impacted by NF2 who cannot run alongside me. Every step I take is in honor of the individuals and families affected by NF2, and each mile is a reminder of the hope, strength, and determination that continue to drive the fight for a cure.

My personal fundraising goal is $882, and I would be incredibly grateful for any contribution as I take on all 6.2 miles. Together, as an NF2 team, we are aiming to raise $30,000, and every gift helps bring us closer to that goal.

Neurofibromatosis Type 2 (NF2) is a rare disorder affecting 2/28,000 people and is characterized by the development of tumors like schwannomas that cause significant daily physical and emotional suffering for patients. Finding a cure or preventative treatment is crucial to ensure that those living with NF2 can lead full and productive lives. Additionally, because mutations in the NF2 gene are present in many other benign tumors and cancers, developing a cure for NF2 could ultimately pave the way for treating a wide range of other conditions, including sporadic vestibular schwannomas, meningiomas, and over twenty cancer types that contain NF2 mutations.
