Denny Leffler, Director of Ecommerce at APH and part of the Studio and IT team has been part of the process to choose the point-of-sale system for The Dot Experience.

Denny shares his thoughts about museums and what excites him about The Dot Experience -

"Traveling around the country and especially at home in the Louisville Community our family has enjoyed visiting museums, factory tours and points of interest. There is a lot of history, passion, and culture to experience many in this area.  We have enjoyed the Indianapolis Children’s Museum, Louisville Slugger Museum, Muhammad Ali Center Museum, Kentucky Science Museum and the Country Music Hall of Fame Museum. It is good to learn the history of the different museums and celebrate the successes of the people who are featured in displays.

The Dot Experience is a culmination of many people, great ideas and a desire to build an accessible museum for all to be welcome.  There has been opportunities to work in focus groups, input design ideas and learn as the museum grows into a living project. The excitement is reaching outside the walls into the community and throughout the state. It was very exciting to hear that the Corvette Museum was interested in learning more about the concept, function and accessibility of the Dot Experience.

The Dot Experience Museum project is very exciting as it is taking the history of the museum and taking it to a new level and providing an enhance education and facility experience.  The “Give for Good Louisville” day is a very important time for people of this region to support local museums, thanks for your consideration, the American Printing House for the Blind and the Dot Experience would appreciate your support."
