Help Put FRVN Veterinary Responders On Scene
When animals are injured in vehicle crashes, structure fires, livestock incidents, and other emergencies, first responders often have no immediate access to veterinary medical support. First Responders’ Veterinary Network is preparing its first three volunteer veterinarians to respond alongside fire, EMS, law enforcement, and emergency management.
The Equip the First Three campaign will raise $9,000 to provide each veterinarian with a professional jump bag, oxygen and airway equipment, trauma supplies, medications, bandaging materials, personal protective equipment, responder identification, and emergency-response training.
When animals are part of the emergency, veterinary care should be part of the response.
Giving Levels
$25 — Restock a Response
Provides commonly used medical and bandaging supplies.
$100 — Support Animal Stabilization
Helps provide trauma, airway, IV, and wound-care supplies.
$250 — Equip a Critical-Care Module
Supports oxygen-delivery equipment, monitoring supplies, and stabilization tools.
$500 — Protect a Veterinary Responder
Provides PPE, responder identification, communications equipment, and training.
$3,000 — Sponsor One Complete Veterinary Responder
Fully equips one veterinarian with a jump bag, PPE, training, and initial operational supplies.
Campaign Goal
Every $3,000 raised places one trained and equipped veterinarian closer to operational readiness. Reaching the $9,000 goal will prepare FRVN’s first three veterinary responders to support animals and first responders during emergencies.
