This sweet Shepherd mix was found wandering alone in southwest Virginia, a stray with no one searching for her and nowhere to call home. Now she sits in a rural Virginia shelter, spending her days behind kennel bars, watching people come and go while she waits for someone to be interested in saving her. At an age when she should be learning what love, safety, and family feel like, Honey instead faces the frightening reality of growing up in a shelter, with every passing day dimming her spirit a little more. Homeward Trails Rescue wants to give Honey the second chance she desperately deserves. But they can't bring her to safety without sponsors and donations to make her rescue possible.
