Superior U20 Mixed - The Road to the Repeat

Last summer, the Minnesota Ultimate's Superior U20 Mixed team became national champions at the USAU Youth Club Championships (YCC) in Colorado for the first time since 2009. A whopping five members of the 2025 Superior U20 Mixed team have since been selected to represent the United States as part of the Team USA Junior National Team at the world championships in Spain in 2026, further highlighting the elite skill of this team. 

More impressive than the individual accomplishments of this group of young athletes, however, is the community that they have built. The Superior U20 Mixed team allows elite young ultimate frisbee players of all genders from Minnesota to connect and build community with peers who share their passion. Many teammates end up attending college/university together, establishing club teams, or simply becoming lifelong friends.

Superior’s incredible national championship victory in 2025 was a full community effort. It was made possible in part through the financial support of parents, siblings, relatives, and friends. In order for every athlete selected for this elite team to be able to participate, we need your partnership again.
