Dan's Ben Did Go 10.0

Hi Everybody! Thank you for stopping by.

The Ben Did Go is 30 mile paddle from Avalon to the Newport Pier. It supports the Ben Carlson Foundation in its mission to promote Ocean/Water safety throughout local communities and supports under funded lifeguard agencies internationally. 

This event and the foundation hit super close to home for me. I was a lifeguard for 13 years, my boys are currently in the Newport Beach Junior Guard program.

This has been one of the most difficult challenges I have taken on in my life. Training and trying to qualify for a 30 mile open ocen paddle has humbled me. I have so many reasons for doing this on and I could write tens of thousands of words for my "why", bu the two biggest words I can write are Rhett & Sutter. Not only has this benefitted me more than i could have imagined, but in this world of instant gratification it ahs help me show my boys that if you want something you need to work hard for it. 

Please help me reach my goal!
