A very sincere thank you to everyone that supported my ride to Maine in the Challenge to Conquer Cancer this year. The weekend before Thanksgiving I reflect how truly thankful I am to all of you for your kindness, support of an amazing cause, and you and your family prioritizing me and this effort in your annual giving. I am excited to ride again in 2026 and would appreciate your support again when the time comes and invite you to join me on the ride if you are so moved.

And no i did not get a new tattoo, but my best friend did. After his amazing bride beat breast cancer and after loosing his father to a rare blood cancer he memorialized and celebrated his love for them with a constant reminder. I ride for them and him!
Challenge to Conquer Cancer is a very personal cause for me. My beautiful mother was a 23 year survivor of cancer so I am intimately aware of the need for continued research and treatment of this disease that impacts so many lives and families in our community. I am also passionate about aftercare because although cancer did not ultimately kill my mother her continued, untreated challenges with mental health did ultimately take her from our family and me much too young.
More recently my dear friend and training partner was diagnosed with prostate cancer. He is fighting and living...and still training. This year I ride for him.
