Backing the Next Generation of Inventors
Eric Baron serves on the board of directors of NextMinds, the organization behind the Connecticut Invention Convention. The program asks K-12 students across Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island to find a problem worth solving, build something that addresses it, and defend the work in front of judges.
Board service here is close to the work. Eric Baron helps steer an organization that reaches 10,000+ young inventors a year.
That mission is at the heart of Push for Entrepreneurship (PFE).
PFE brings students, families, educators and companies together on Saturday, November 7 at Fairfield University for a morning of push-ups. It is how the Connecticut Invention Convention keeps its programs open to students regardless of background or ability to pay.
Eric's goal is $500, enough to put five students through the program. 100% of proceeds go directly to the Connecticut Invention Convention, and many employers will match your gift.
