Keep the Bus Rolling

For many of the young people we serve at Austin17House, the biggest barrier to showing up isn't motivation, it's the ability to get here.

Since opening our doors in 2017, we've seen firsthand what happens when youth and families can't access consistent support. Many of the teens we work with face daily challenges that go far beyond what most people see, limited food security, unstable housing, and a lack of the foundational skills that help young people grow into confident, capable adults. When a young person finally decides they're ready to walk through our doors, the last thing that should stop them is not having a ride.

That's why transportation matters so much to us.

Thanks to a generous grant from MVSB Bank and the incredible hands-on work of students from the Seacoast School of Technology Automotive Program in Exeter, NH, we now have a bus thats restored, maintained, and ready to serve. These young automotive students didn't just fix a vehicle. They invested in the future of their peers. We are so grateful.

But getting the bus ready was only the first step. Keeping it running, and putting it to work, is where we need your help.

Your donation will go directly toward:

• Fuel, insurance, and routine maintenance to keep the bus on the road

• Hiring qualified, background-checked drivers who show up for our youth

• Expanding transportation routes to reach more young people who need us most

When a teen has a reliable way to get here, everything changes. They show up. They connect. They grow.
