The mission of WhereHows is to address rural community separation by creating shared spaces where people of all ages can gather, work, learn, and participate in community life.

The WhereHows is an integrated creative/technical/entrepreneurial space designed to support a wide array of users—from artists and engineers to small businesses and community organizers. It’s a hybrid coworking + consignment + maker hub + performance space, built from the ground up to foster community, experimentation, and income generation.

We develop and support facilities that integrate arts programming, multigenerational recreation, and sustainable practices such as indoor agriculture and green infrastructure.

WhereHows operates as a flexible, site-agnostic model, allowing programs to activate existing community buildings while pursuing cooperative ownership of long-term host facilities when feasible.
