Help us bring comfort and hope to our community by providing food and hygiene items to those in need

$1,500 goal

This Christmas season, The Timothy Foundation is stepping into one of the most challenging needs facing Butler County: food and hygiene insecurity. Behind every number is a neighbor — a child, a parent, a senior — working hard to get through the holidays with dignity.

In our community, child food insecurity is 25.2%, significantly higher than national averages. That means one out of every four children may struggle to have enough food at home. And when hygiene essentials are missing — toothpaste, soap, deodorant, basic care items — families face an even heavier burden. These are needs no one should have to choose between.

The Timothy Foundation stands in this gap every week, offering a warm, welcoming, shop-with-dignity pantry experience where families are treated with respect, kindness, and compassion. No judgment. No shame. Just hope.

This Giving Tuesday, we are raising $1,500 for food and hygiene items that will be distributed during the Christmas holiday. These funds will help us stock our shelves with the most-needed essentials — nutritious staples, children’s snacks, cleaning supplies, personal hygiene care, and the items families quietly go without because they simply cannot stretch their budgets any further.

But this campaign is not just about dollars. It’s about hands joining together, one gift at a time, to lift up our community.

We are inviting anyone who lives in Butler County — and anyone who has ever lived here, grown up here, or carries this community in their heart — to help. Even the smallest gift can create ripple effects of hope. If everyone who sees this campaign gave just $5, we would reach our goal quickly and together.

Because that’s the beauty of community:

Many hands make light work.

Your $5, when added to someone else’s $5, and shared again by another, becomes food on the table and dignity restored.

And if you cannot give this season, we still need you.

Your prayers, your compassion, and your willingness to share this message matter just as much. We believe deeply that generosity comes in many forms — through giving, through praying, and through spreading the word.

When we link arms as a community, no one walks through the holidays alone.

When we share what we can, families feel seen, supported, and valued.

When we choose dignity over charity, we lift people up instead of looking down.

This Christmas, help us bring warmth, nourishment, and hope to our neighbors.

Together, we can reach our $1,500 goal.

Together, we can lighten the load for families in need.

Together, we can make sure every child, every parent, and every senior in Butler County feels the love of a community that still cares for its own.

Give. Pray. Share.

Your part — no matter how small — truly makes a difference.
