Rock On for Youth!

As many of you know, Youth Rock NC (formerly Girls Rock NC) paused all programming in 2025 to work on a strategic plan that would allow our organization to operate more sustainably in the future and to move forward with our name change. As of today, we can officially say we have accomplished both! Now, we are back in action and ready to announce that we will resume our usual programming in 2026!

However,  because of our pause in programming, Youth Rock is in a really difficult financial state. At this time, Youth Rock does not have enough funds to cover our operating costs through the end of the year.

Rock Roulette, which happens in the Spring, is our biggest fundraiser each year that keeps the organization running and allows us to run summer camp. However, Rock roulette ends in March, and until then, the money fundraised won’t be available to us. We have calculated that until Rock Roulette funds hit, we will need approximately $5k to pay our existing bills.

With our funds running out by the end of 2025, we need our community’s  support as soon as possible. If you are able, we ask that you consider donating to our fundraiser and helping us reach our 5k goal.
