Help fund STEM Summer Camp for High School Students

Get Science, Engineering, and Technology (GetSET) provides transformative opportunities for high-school–aged young women from underserved communities across the South Bay. Through a four-year sequence of summer engineering and technology workshops, participants gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and a supportive peer network that helps them envision a future in STEM.

Hosted on a local college campus, this week-long residential program—organized the Society of Women Engineers Santa Clara Valley section since 1992—has inspired thousands of young women to pursue STEM degrees and careers. As we enter our 34th annual event, your support is more vital than ever to help ignite curiosity, build confidence, and create meaningful connections with professional mentors and like-minded students.

Thanks to generous funding from high-tech corporations, foundations, and individual donors, we are proud to offer this program at no cost to students. The actual cost to deliver the program is approximately $700 per participant, a fraction of the costs typically charged for comparable residential STEM camps. This is made possible by our dedicated volunteer corps of professional women in STEM who donate their time, expertise, and mentorship.

We invite you to watch this VIDEO to learn more about the program or visit us our website HERE.

Thank you for your consideration and support. Your contribution helps shape the next generation of STEM leaders.
