Organizational Capacity Building and Office Relocation Request
We are seeking capacity building funds to strengthen our organizational infrastructure and operational efficiency. These funds will support essential office needs, including administrative systems, technology upgrades, staff training, and program management tools. Investing in our internal capacity will enhance accountability, improve service delivery, and ensure the long-term sustainability of our programs serving vulnerable communities.
In October 2024, Hurricane Milton caused significant flooding to our Disaster Response Team office, rendering the facility unusable and requiring an immediate transition to fully remote operations. Despite this disruption, our organization has remained steadfast in its mission to serve the residents of Hillsborough County.
Since April 2025, our team has continued delivering essential services remotely, successfully assisting 4,582 families affected by disasters and ongoing community needs. While remote operations have allowed continuity of services, the absence of a physical office has limited our operational efficiency, coordination capacity, and ability to expand services.
We have identified an opportunity to secure a new office location that will restore and strengthen our operational capacity. The total capacity-building cost is $50,000, which includes office setup, essential equipment, technology infrastructure, and operational readiness to support staff and community engagement.
Establishing a permanent office is critical to sustaining current services and advancing our strategic goal of expanding assistance to 10,000 families across Hillsborough County. A centralized location will enhance coordination, improve service delivery, and increase our ability to respond effectively to future emergencies.
We respectfully request financial support to help fund this office relocation and capacity-building effort. Your investment will directly contribute to organizational stability, expanded service reach, and continued support for vulnerable families in our community.
With your support, we can rebuild stronger, operate more effectively, and continue meeting the evolving needs of Hillsborough County residents.
Thank you for your consideration and partnership.
