This is a challenge of body, mind, and spirit. Luckily I will never be short of spirit as I carry with me and remember Deputy Christina Musil. It’s more than a career, it’s a family.
This year I will be participating again in the ILCOPS Memorial Bike Ride as part of Team Musil. We will be riding over 300 miles in 4 days.
The ride supports Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.), an organization dedicated to helping the families of fallen law enforcement officers rebuild their lives after tragedy. Through counseling, survivor retreats, camps for children, and lifelong support, C.O.P.S. ensures that these families never have to face their loss alone.
Every mile we ride honors the sacrifice made by Deputy Musil and supports the families who continue forward in their loved ones’ memory.
