On December 3rd, individuals will come together to take 1,000,000 steps to help create awareness and raise funding for the local Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Program.

Step 2: Set your step goal for the number of steps you will take on December 3rd
Step 3: Pay Registration Fee of $30. (You may pay the registration fee by making the first donation to your online campaign.)
Step 4: Set-up Fundraising Page
Step 5: Share with your friends, family and colleagues to encourage them to support your efforts
Step 6: Celebrate your accomplishment on December 4th at the "Finish Line" party
December 3rd is #GivingTuesday. Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving. It is a day to give back to your community!
CASA Stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates. Judges appoint CASA volunteers to represent the best interests of children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. The CASA volunteers make sure that the child does not get lost in the legal and social service system, or languish in a foster home. The same volunteer stays on the case until the child is placed in a safe permanent home.
