My friends from Team NOMA are competing in the Monte Rio Triathlon and have decided to support Dare Humanity!
We are all having a friendly competition to see which team can raise the most money!
The proceeds from this fundraiser will help fund their race up to 5%. The remaining 95% will be directed to my organization, Dare Humanity, a 501 (c)(3 ) nonprofit organization that is dedicated to providing communities in Haiti with clean drinking water, student sponsorships and pit latrines.
The funds raised for this fundraiser will go towards the Young Dreams Sponsorship Program.
Dare Humanity’s Young Dreams Sponsorship Program provides financial support for seven youth in our three communities. The funds will allow the seven youth to attend school beginning in September.
Information on our 7 youth:
1. Maxmara G. - Sonyen - 16 years old - 5th grade
2. Rosesmith A. - Sonyen - 10 years old - 4th grade
3. Charles R. - Souchato - 7 years old - 2nd grade
4. Robnsito P. - Souchato - 7 years old - 2nd grade
5. Christie O. - Deluge - 9 years old - 5th grade
6. Kerline C. - Deluge - 4 years old - 2nd grade
7. Kerlande C. - Deluge - 4 years old - 2nd grade
We believe education should be accessible to every child, no matter their circumstances, environment, ethnicity or economic status.
Our goal is to raise $800 over the next 2 weeks. This will allow Dare Humanity to sponsor their youth for 1 year of school!
The race is June 9th in Monte Rio. Come out and cheer us on if you can!
If you are interested in sponsoring these athletes, reach out to the team captain, Nick Daher to discuss details.
