Join the Africa Exchange $25K Challenge and help Africa Development Promise (ADP) raise $25,000 to support our women's economic empowerment programs in Rwanda and Uganda.

Africa Exchange $25K Challenge Grand Prize
There are two grand prizes! Each prize is a ten-day trip (for one person) to Rwanda and Uganda – 5 days in each country. Each trip includes roundtrip airfare from Washington, DC, to Kigali, Rwanda, ten days of hotel accommodations, meals, local transportation, a one-day safari, visits to ADP’s programs, airfare from Rwanda to Uganda, and group excursions. Winners can travel between March 24 – April 3 or July 7 – 17, 2023. The approximate value of each trip is $4,500.00.
The drawing will be held on January 16, 2023.
This ten-day immersion trip is a great way to connect with the communities that ADP serves and enjoy the rich and diverse cultures of Rwanda and Uganda.

- Fill out the information and customize your page. It can be short and sweet, but it will give others an understanding of why you’re asking for a gift to support ADP. For example:
- Please help me to raise $500 for Africa Development Promise. The funds support their mission to economically improve the lives and livelihoods of rural women through training and resources. It also helps me enter a drawing to win a trip to visit their programs in Rwanda and Uganda.
- Did you know that in 2019 only 1.6% of all charitable donations went to Women’s and Girls’ causes? Please donate to my fundraiser for Africa Development Promise and help empower over 200 rural women and girls in 2023.
- I need to raise $500 to reach my Africa Exchange fundraising goal. Please donate today to help me reach my goal and qualify for a drawing to win a trip to Rwanda and Uganda!
- Set the duration to January 15, 2023.
- Publish the page
- Announce the fundraiser at holiday events, circulate with your book club, sorority, or church/mosques/synagogue, and invite friends, family, and coworkers to donate to your fundraiser.
Raise at least $500 by January 15, 2023, and the first 50 people to raise $500 will automatically be entered into the drawing for a chance to win the Challenge Grand Prize. The odds of winning are 1:25. But it is also your way of supporting a great cause.
When Is the Drawing?
Eligible participants will be invited to a Zoom Call on Monday, January 16, 2023, at 11:00 am MST for the drawing. Participants do not have to be present to win. The names of the winners will be posted on ADP’s Facebook page. We will also contact each winner via email; they have seven working days to accept the award.
