The Anne Arundel Conflict Resolution Center is an anchor for peace and progress in Anne Arundel County. The Center's professionally trained staff and volunteers (neighbors from our own community) bring peace to our backyards through mediation, facilitation, and community conferencing services to individuals and groups in conflict. These services are free of charge to the residents of Anne Arundel County.
This summer presents a unique challenge to the Center and, of course, to our communities. But the Center, and our staff and volunteers, have risen to that challenge, adapting to new ways to provide support and service to those who need it most.
However resilient our staff and volunteers may be, the Center is facing the harsh reality of declining income as certain in-person services have been unable to continue in lieu of COVID-19. So for the first time, our team of volunteers is launching a crowdfunding campaign, to harness the power of our networks, and encourage all of our neighbors to share a part in resolving conflict and bringing peace to our backyards.
