APA 5K SUPERHERO RACE & FAMILY FUN RUN (FUNDRAISER)

We have a goal of 100% student participation and of raising $100,000 by April 22!

All funds raised from this event will benefit the following APA Initiatives 

Playground Shade Structure

Busing for Field Trips

College Visits for APA High School Students

Teacher, Staff & Family Hardship Fund

APA Sister School in Africa

WHY THIS RACE?

To raise money and be a SUPERHERO for American Preparatory Academy’s Las Vegas!

1. With 295 days of sun a year, we need a shade structure for the playground!

2. This past year we risked having to cancel our kids field trips because we did not have enough volunteer drivers – bus rental is a necessity!

3. The importance of visiting college campuses cannot be over emphasized. Brochures, catalogues, presentations by college representatives, guidance counselors and videos can help to form an opinion of a school, but a visit allows you to see firsthand the environment and evaluate the academics, athletics, housing, and the social life of that school to make sure it is the right fit in all areas!

4. Every year situations occur in the lives of our families, teachers and administration where a little extra support goes a long way at healing from a tragic occurrence, illness or loss. Together, we will support our APA community at times of need.

5. Chiyembe Academy (Africa Prep) serves 175 students, and are currently without electricity or running water. We can make a difference!

SUPPORT OUR STUDENTS IN MAKING AN IMPACT AT THEIR SCHOOL AND IN OUR COMMUNITY BY ENCOURGING BUILDER BEHAVIORS. Our students will learn to fundraise, stand responsible for our school and our community and win great prizes while having healthy fitness fun!
