Between Friends is a Chicagoland nonprofit agency that provides a safe and supportive environment for individuals and families experiencing domestic violence, as well as education programs as part of the movement to end domestic violence
In the last fiscal year, Between Friends reached 7,105 people with our services -- that includes counseling, court advocacy, our 24-hour crisis hotline, and our education and prevention programs for young people and adults.
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and we’re aiming to raise $70,000 by the end of the month in our It Takes a Friend campaign, to ensure we can continue Between Friends’ important work. We can only reach this goal with your help!
Right now, the need for public education about domestic violence is greater than ever. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and during a time of rising living costs, the need for services for domestic survivors is also greater than ever. All Between Friends’ client services, whether in-person or remote, are provided free of charge – and this is only possible because of the donations we receive.
Please consider joining our team or giving a donation to help make this happen!
