We're participating in the 2020 Rock Family of Companies Community Challenge! Our summer cancer camps and year long family activities engage over 170 children a year in Michigan in laughter, courage, joy, friendship and hope at no charge to families.
When a family received a cancer diagnosis for son or daughter, childhood stops. Vacations, family time, crafts and campfires are replaced with doctors visits, infusions treatments, isolation, and restrictions. With children's safety and medical needs at the forefront, Camp Quality breaks down those barriers for children and families and restores childhood experiences.
Michigan ranks 5th highest in the country for childhood cancer and nearly 380 children and their families learn of a diagnosis every year. Most children survive, but they often miss out on many childhood experiences. Camp Quality gives them a chance to run, laugh, and play with other children while experiencing confidence building activities like swimming, archery, horseback riding, canoeing, zip lines and much more.
