$30,000 Goal

Hello Class of 2027!

Help the Class of 2027 give the most donations to Magnet. Every donation counts toward our goal!

Caddo Magnet High School PTSA is raising money for Student Experiences —visits to engaging museums, inspiring art exhibits, historic landmarks, and unforgettable classical music performances.

Every student deserves the chance to experience learning beyond the classroom. That's why this year, we're raising funds through Give for Good to support field trips and cultural experiences that bring textbooks to life. These experiences do more than teach—they spark curiosity, deepen understanding, and stay with students for a lifetime.

Why Give to Magnet High?
HELP US STAY ON TOP! Magnet is the #1 High School (9-12 grades) in Louisiana, and these experiences provide significant benefits to students:

🎓Enhanced Academic Performance - Research shows that students who participate in field trips often demonstrate improved academic outcomes. One study found that students attending art museums, plays, and symphony concerts scored higher on final exams, received better course grades, and had fewer absences compared to their peers who did not participate.

🤝Development of Social and Emotional Skills - Field trips provide students with opportunities to interact with peers and teachers in new environments, fostering teamwork, communication, and empathy. For example, children who participated in group-based activities during field trips showed a 25% increase in social adaptability.

🧠 Improved Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills - Engaging with real-world scenarios during field trips encourages students to apply critical thinking and problem-solving. Studies have shown that students who participated in museum tours exhibited improved critical thinking skills compared to those who did not.

đź’ˇInspiration for Future Career - Visiting workplaces or meeting professionals in different fields allows students to understand the skills and education required for various careers, broadening their horizons and aspirations.
