The mission of Chicago Rowing Union is to promote the sport of rowing to the LGBT community and its Allies. We provide inclusive educational and competitive programs that foster teamwork, personal growth, health, and fitness.
We make the sport of rowing accessible to a wider audience by creating a welcoming culture and by keeping dues low with additional assistance available no-questions-asked. We are primarily funded by members' dues, but in order to keep fees reasonable and maintain our equipment, we rely on contributions from you.
Your donation will be used to allow us to discount the fees for a member in need, maintain our equipment, and keep our team running. Our equipment is modest and our board is made up entirely of unpaid volunteers. Your contribution makes a big difference and we will put it to good use!
