Join and support our team to help raise awareness of placenta accreta during Accreta Awareness Month. Placenta accreta is a pregnancy complication that currently affects 1 in 272 births, putting the mom at risk of severe blood loss, preterm birth, hysterectomy, and other complications. Every mom deserves risk-appropriate obstetric care. Making this a reality requires increasing awareness of accreta, supporting and advocating for moms and babies, and connecting patients and providers with resources to help improve quality of care.
